Being a Chinese and raised in a typical Chinese family,
Dim Sum is always something I look forward to. As a kid,
siew mai and
har gao are 2 dishes I never missed. However, now that I've matured, I started to be more appreciative of other Dim Sum dishes available.

Not the most accessible
Dim Sum restaurant in Singapore, but worth a trip down any day. Swee Choon Tim Sum Restaurant serves
Dim Sum from 6pm till the next morning. Now you know where to go for supper next weekend ;)

叉烧包,叉烧酥,皮蛋粥 |
Their char siew bao(叉烧包) and char siew pastry(叉烧酥) were remarkable. Century Egg Porridge(皮蛋粥) was quite tasteless and disappointing. It was rather nice on my previous trip though... I guessed the chef wasn't in his/her best of moods.

劲辣口水鸡 |
A cold spicy dish. The chicken was tender and the sauce really spicy with a tinge of sweetness. Definitely not for the weak heart!
 |
炸云吞,面线粿 |
Their Fried Wanton(炸云吞) is always served hot and crispy(the only proper
way to serve fried food). On a side note, fried wanton skin had always
been my personal favourite(toppings for pizza, salad, porridge..........) hence...I can be quite bias when I comes to this particular fried food. ;) Mee Sua Kueh(面线粿) is one of their signature dish. It was far better on my first trip, disappointing this trip.

奶黄流沙包 |
Their Salted Egg Yolk Custard Bun(奶黄流沙包) is very nice! The first time i tried this at another
Dim Sum restaurant, I didn't like it(too sandy for me). The proportion of the custard to salted egg yolk here is
Perfect.
